Who can request a HEWA email address

The processes for applying for a hewa.wa.edu.au email address were updated in April 2026.

Everyone already using a hewa.wa.edu.au email address has been contacted and invited to complete the new online application form. This helps us confirm details and ensure all accounts are correctly linked to current memberships.

We’ve also broadened eligibility so that children and partners/spouses of HEWA members can now request their own hewa.wa.edu.au email address.

Who Can Request a hewa.wa.edu.au Email Address?

Current Standard and Concession Home Education WA (HEWA) members can apply for a hewa.wa.edu.au email address.

The primary HEWA member may apply for a hewa.wa.edu.au address for themselves, their children, and/or their partner or spouse.

Please note: Affiliate members are not eligible for hewa.wa.edu.au email addresses.

How To Request a hewa.wa.edu.au Email Address

To apply for a hewa.wa.edu.au email address, you will need to complete the new online application form. You’ll be asked for your HEWA membership details and, if you have previously been issued a hewa.wa.edu.au email address, any information relating to that account.

You can apply for an email address for yourself, your child, and/or your partner or spouse on the same form.

Processing time is usually 1–2 weeks, as each account is created manually and depends on volunteer availability.

Once your address (or addresses) have been created, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access your new hewa.wa.edu.au email account.
