Home Education WA’s Senior Graduation & Dinner Dance
The HEWA Senior Graduation & Dinner Dance is a formal, milestone celebration for home‑educated students completing their home education journey. This event honours the achievements of senior students as they transition into adulthood, further study, training, or employment. The evening includes a sit‑down meal, certificate presentation, and an opportunity for graduates to celebrate with their chosen adults in a supportive, community‑minded environment.
Who can attend
- Home‑educated students who have reached the end of their home education journey, including:
- Year 12
- Year 10 or 11 if ceasing home education (e.g., transitioning to TAFE or other pathways)
- One or two adults (parents or other significant adults) — space is limited
- Siblings cannot be catered for at this event
What’s included
- Venue hire
- Buffet meal and unlimited soft drinks
- Certificate presentation, sash and pin
- A formal, celebratory evening with the HEWA community

🎟 Ticket Sales
- Ticket sales open in late July for current HEWA members (via emailed access code)
- Ticket sales open to non‑members two weeks later
- Tickets must be purchased for your own child(ren), not on behalf of others
- Tickets can be purchased for the graduating student and 1–2 adults
💲 Ticket Prices (2026)
- $95 per graduate
- $80 per adult (maximum 2 adults)
- HEWA member discount: $90 per graduate and $75 per adult
