Coming up on Monday 20 October we have an excursion to SERCUL (South East Regional Centre for Urban Landcare, Beckenham) for Years 3-6 to Build a frog habitat and learn about dragonflies.

This event is not a ‘drop off’ event. A parent or guardian needs to stay.

For: Years 3-6 students
- Please note that there is limited space at the SERCUL venue: siblings who are not participants in this year group range, are NOT able to be accommodated.

Content:
Building a frog habitat
- Learn about the frogs of the Perth Region,
- Learn about their life cycle and habitat requirements
- Learn how to establish an area in the garden to attract frogs.
Life Cycle of Dragonflies
- Learn about the fascinating life cycle of the dragonfly, the attributes that make it a successful predator and the threats to their existence.
- Students may also get the chance to see a dragonfly nymph up close.
