👉 The Home Based Learning Network of WA (HBLN), operating as Home Education WA (HEWA) invites you to our 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM).
HEWA volunteers have been supporting home-educating families in WA and advocating for our rights for 31 years! 👊
We would love to see you in person as we:
✅Go through what we have achieved over the last year
✅Vote in our new committee for the 2025/2026 year
✅Plan what we want to focus on over the next year
🤝All are welcome, but you need to be a current HEWA member to be able to vote at the AGM.

There will be access to an outdoor playground if you need to bring along any children.

Nominations
Nominations for committee positions (i.e. chairperson, treasurer, general committee) will need to be submitted in advance, so please contact coordinator@hbln.org.au to nominate.
There is now a new category for those who wish to volunteer their skills and time to help the HEWA committee, without formally joining the committee. Please contact coordinator@hbln.org.au to nominate.
Voting by Proxy
If you cannot attend the meeting, you can choose a committee member to vote on your behalf. Proxy vote forms need to be returned by Sunday 11th May. You can allocate your proxy vote here.
