We’re thrilled to announce a new opportunity for home-educated students in Western Australia—Unified Playing for All, proudly supported by Telethon and delivered by Special Olympics Australia in partnership with Home Education WA.
This program brings together children and teens aged 6–17 of all abilities, including those with intellectual disabilities or autism, for inclusive, adaptable, and joy-filled physical activities. Whether you’re bursting with energy, just getting started with physical movement, or somewhere in between, there’s a place for you here.

What is Unified Playing for All?
At its core, it’s about connection—everyone plays, regardless of ability or disability. Students learn foundational movement and sport skills, explore inclusive games using a game-sense approach, and build confidence, communication, and teamwork in a safe and welcoming environment.
Perfect for Families Seeking:
- Social connection and lasting friendships
- Physical literacy development
- A gentle, fun introduction to sport aligned with the HPE Curriculum and Physical Literacy Framework
What’s Included:
- Venue hire
- Equipment
- Qualified coaches
- A tailored, play-based curriculum designed for a range of abilities
Thanks to generous funding, all of this is provided free of charge. All you need to bring is your energy—and maybe a smile or two!
