The Biology, Earth and Environmental Sciences (BEES) Day is an annual event that showcases some of the exciting career choices and opportunities in science. It is designed to increase students’ awareness of real science jobs and encourage them to consider science pathways when selecting subjects at high school.
Home Education WA attended the BEES day in both 2023 and 2024, which were excellent and has once again registered as a ‘school’ for 25 students to attend.
The event will be held at Curtin University on Friday 5 September from 9:15-2:30pm

The space in each of the workshop rooms is fairly limited. There is an option to ‘drop and leave’. HEWA committee member Monique Stone will be supervising during this event. Parent/guardian must be contactable throughout the day.,
