In addition to the incursions for the Kindy-Yr2, Yrs 3-6 and Yrs 7-9 groups, we will now offer LEAP Homeschool PLAYGROUP for ages 0-6.
The playgroup will be held in the Children’s Area at Yangebup Community Centre, 20 Swallow Drive, Yangebup. It will be open 9:30-13:30 on the monthly incursion days. There will be plenty of opportunity for the children to play indoors, as well as in the enclosed courtyard and playground outside.
At set times we will offer something to participate in:
10:15-10:45 Story time /rhyme time (primarily aimed at those under Kindy age)
11:30-12:00 Music and Movement (timed so that some of the Kindy-Yr2 kids may wish to enrol and join us after their incursion in the main hall/lesser hall)
12:45-13:30 Craft/activity
The playgroup will be overseen by Sarah and Monique, who both hold childcare qualifications. It will not be a drop and run though; it is expected parents will stay. There is a kitchen facility in the Children’s area so we can make ourselves a cuppa and catch up with other parents.
The cost for the Playgroup will be $7.50/day/child (with the HEWA discount it would be $6/pp). This will go towards the cost of venue hire, as well as resources. Enrolment for the playgroup will be via the Trybooking links for each of these dates.
The dates for the remainder of 2023 for the Playgroup and Incursion Days are: Thursdays 27 July, 31 August, 21 September, 19 October, 23 November.
