It’s that time of year again when we hold our AGM. We are a committee of 5 who are actively home-educating our children (some juggling working commitments in there too) who are all passionate about home education and ensuring that our rights to do so continue.
This year’s AGM will be held via video conference on Thursday 20 July 2023 at 7pm. HEWA Members are invited to attend.

Nominations for the positions of President/Chairperson or Treasurer should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org by Thursday 6 July 2023.
We are also looking for general committee members to help out with: events, advocacy, and other small things here and there. You can complete the attached nomination form if you wish to join the committee. If you’d like to find out more about what’s required you can email: email@example.com.
If you’d like to join the committee in any of the available positions, we meet approx 8-9 times per year via video-conference so there’s no need to leave home. There’s a 3-month settling-in period so if it’s not working for you then the option to withdraw is easy. Non Committee Volunteers
There is also an option to assist as a non-committee volunteer; perhaps you’re unable to join the committee but would like to help out at events (such as the Teen Ball or Year 6 Graduation), LEAP (incursions and excursions), our social media presence, or perhaps the website.
If you are unable to attend the meeting and wish to vote on the election of members to the positions of President/Chairperson or Treasurer then a proxy vote can be sent by email to be received no later than Thursday 6 July 2023.
